U.S.A! U.S.A!
Happy 4th everybody. Went to the Indian Trail, NC 4th of July Parade. There were loads of people, it wasn’t too hot, and we got to se all of the usual parade suspects: fire engines, various boy scout troop, a few WWII vets, and a bunch of southern belle beauty queens in their convertible cars. All in all, it was a small town parade just like they all ought to be.
You can tell from some of the pictures that we live in a pretty conservative part of NC. But the best part of the parade were the WWII vets. They were having a ball and the crowd applauded them all loudly.
I’m experimenting with over-saturating some of my photos. So far, I’m not getting too zealous with the saturation or the black point but occasionally, you might find one where I got a little happy with the sliders. I think it might have something to do with me trying to honor the end of the Kodachrome era. Remember to click the image to look at the rest of the pics on my Flickr page. Or just navigate there using the images to the right.
After a quick nap, it’ll be time for some BBQ and, hopefully, fireworks.
