SELLING MGS GIFT CARD

Gather Customer Info

Important Info: As a service for our guests, Mast attaches a guest's name and phone number to all transactions involving a gift card sale. This helps us find and restore a lost card.

  1. Select Customers in the Main Menu.
  2. Select Find Customer.
  3. Enter the guest phone number or name.
  4. Select Search.
    • If there is no result/no match, select New to create a new customer record.
    • If results match, select the proper entry and select OK.

Sell Gift Card

  1. Select Transaction Type in the Main Menu
  2. Select Sell Gift Card.
  3. Inspect the gift card for signs of tampering. Do not activate the card if you suspect the security tab has been partially or fully removed. Instead, provide the guest with a new gift card and send the compromised card to Dave Cliett at the Support Facility.
  4. Remove the security tab from the back to expose the barcode.
  5. Scan the barcode.
  6. Enter the Value of the gift card.
  7. Select Next Card.
    • If multiple gift cards are being purchased at once, repeat steps 1-7, then continue.
  8. Select Add to POS
  9. Complete the transaction.
